Michael Parry experience summary

Dr Michael Parry is senior international public financial management adviser, a UK Chartered Accountant, Chartered Global Management Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser with a first degree in economics and a PhD in development accounting.

Michael Parry has extensive international experience as Director and Team Leader level and as an adviser on all aspects of pubic financial management including institutional reform, budgeting, accounting, auditing and related capacity building and systems projects.

Michael Parry has international experience in Europe, Central and South Asia, the Pacific and Africa. Areas of experience have included the design of multi year and annual budgets, budget execution, accounting including compliance with International Public Sector Accounting Standards, financial and statistical reporting, internal control and audit, external audit, related information systems and training.  Michael Parry has helped the development of professional accounting bodies and has experience of institutional reform, human resource management, training management, training design and delivery.
